My client is a well-established manufacturer of high reliability components into the Defence and aerospace industry. Although part of large group, they are run autonomously, and have an enviable client base both in the UK and across Europe. They now seek a Production Engineer to primary focus to be the systematic improvement of the manufacturing processes, with a view to making improvements or replacing with more efficient and cost effective manufacturing methods.
The successful candidate will have several years experience in a specialist light duty electro-mechanical production-engineering environment and have experience with the successful implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
