Our client is a well-established and successful company with an excellent international reputation for design and manufacture. They are currently experiencing significant growth and an opportunity has now arisen for Materials Controller.
The post-holder's responsibilities within the role will require you to:
* Oversee the management of inventory from identification of need through to timely delivery
* Manage and continuously improve materials handling processes
* Develop and maintain processes that promote inventory integrity
* Manage the kitting process
* Ensure raw materials are delivered to the right place, at the right time and supplied in the correct quantities
* Manage ERP system set-ups to ensure inventory integrity
You will have a minimum of 5 years' purchasing/materials experience ideally gained in an electronics manufacturing environment. Highly numerate and comfortable using data, you will also be able to interact with people at all levels of the operations division. The ability to communicate well is therefore essential. CIPS qualifications is also highly relevant.
