Our client is a manufacturer of cable systems primarily for the aerospace and defence industries.
We are now looking for a Project Controller to look after customers orders from receipt into manufacturing through to final delivery. You will be expected to plan and organise the steps of the projects including: material procurement, engineering liaison, Identification of NRE costs, manufacturing and test resources. This will be a customer facing role at times so good communication skills are essential.
Being well organised, flexible and have a methodical approach to the fulfilment of project requirements. You will have worked in an electrical/electronic manufacturing environment maybe as a project or production engineer.
Having had experience of scheduling production personnel and processes you will have the peripheral vision to predict problems and take avoiding actions while maintaining control of project costs. Having worked for an Aerospace or Defence company would be an advantage.
