Our client, a major FMCG chilled food manufacturer, is currently seeking an experienced FMCG food Production Manager for a busy night shift. The company has been established for 20 years and employs over 1000 staff. In a recent cultural survey, this manufacturer was rated in the top 10 food manufacturers in the UK for its investment in staff.
This is a relatively new division of a large and highly successfully FMCG food producer which is working with major retailers and has recently developed new products to satisfy customer needs.
The role will involve managing a team of staff on new lines and therefore requires a strong character and some experience of managing teams with a proactive outlook and an ability to identify and implement changes where required. You will be required to work with complete autonomy managing a whole team of staff including all the site staff during the shift.
You will be of graduate calibre with a minimum of 4 years experience of working in a fast paced FMCG food environment. In return, due to company expansion plans, there will be lots of opportunity for future career development for the right candidate.
