Due to expansion this well established, privately owned British company which has been designing and manufacturing communication and telemetry systems for some 11 years require a Purchasing Manager. Your remit will be day to day control of purchases company wide and further more will be expected to be responsible for sub contract suppliers. A significant project planning element is involved and the successful incumbent will be expected to efficiently analysis production/project costing.
Previous experience of buying in an R&D/small batch electronic production environment will be a considerable advantage.
Furthermore the successful applicant will be involved in the implementation of a new integrated manufacturing control software system.
