This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the areas oldest engineering firms. Our client manufactures high-pressure boiler circulating pumps for use in the power generation industry, and is the world market leader for this type of equipment. Other related products include specialised pumps and motors for the nuclear and defence industries. They have now revealed that they have secured yet another contract overseas and these order announcements have provided an excellent start to the New Year and illustrate the close working relationship with their customers in China and India.
Due to their influx in orders they require a Manufacturing Manager who will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management of 46 personnel, assisted by 2 foreman covering all aspects of manufacturing operations specifically: Manufacturing (including machining, welding and fitting), Stores Control (including receipt and inventory) Despatch. You will manage the manufacturing process and provide technical support to the operators and manage KPI's related to manufacturing.
