Summary: Contract Manufacturing Services
Our client has grown to become one of the UK's leading suppliers of Contract Manufacturing Services to the Electronics Industry world wide, including: Surface Mount PCB assembly, Ball Grid Array (BGA) Assembly and rework, Complete Product Assembly. PCB Prototyping, Material Procurement, Production Engineering support and ATE In-circuit and Functional Testing.
They have an immediate requirement for a Test Engineer. The successful candidate will be qualified to HND/Degree standard in Electronics and have design experience in electronic production PCB test equipment. A background in ATE programming and PC based interfaces would be an advantage as would previous experience of Teradyne ICT and SPEA Flying Probe testers, although specific training would be given.
A sound understanding of electronic circuitry is also required in order to assist and train test technicians in fault finding to component level.
This is a senior position requiring a high degree of self-motivation.
