From their nationwide network of plants, the company provides the highest quality in workwear rental and linen hire, washroom products and healthcare services. They currently seek applications for the post of Health & Safety Officer to join their successful team.
In this crucial role, you will be the focal point for all health & safety activities within their Leicester Laundry, associated depots and hospital premises. This will involve managing Risk Assessment programmes, Fire and Machinery training, co-ordinating manual handling, COSHH, PPE and conducting accident investigations and preparing documentation. Equally importantly, you will closely monitor contractors to ensure full compliance with agreed policies and procedures, and play a central part in our health surveillance programme, giving you a very high profile and total involvement.
You will naturally hold the NEBOSH certificate and bring broad practical experience of Health & Safety management, ideally gained within a busy manufacturing or processing operation.
