Our client is a well established family run business who are looking for an experienced candidate to join their late-shift of operatives in the wrapping machine team within their mailing machine lines.
This will be a challenging and fulfilling role whereby the successful individual will be given the opportunity to develop within a supportive environment.
The prime duties will include: -
* Set & run the mailing machinery, Inkjet & associated equipment in line with safety procedures
* First point of contact for any issues including problem solving any resource issues – staff levels, material shortages, breakdowns
* Training of the operatives
* Process work to specification maintaining quality and optimum performance
* General maintenance/repairs & cleanliness of equipment
Although extensive training will be provided, knowledge of mailing machinery such Sitma, Buhrs and Domino Inkjet will be highly critical. You must be flexible, very hands-on and be able to operate and set and run up the line, as well as able to deal with some basic administration and systems duties.
An excellent salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful individual.
The person appointed will start on our day-shift working pattern, however, we will require flexibility to work our nightshift as determined by customer demand.
