A leading Chilled Goods Manufacturer is currently looking to recruit a QA Team Leader
responsible for the implementation and continual development of a robust QA system within area of responsibility that meets all Codes of Practice and legal requirements.
Key accountabilities include:
Managing and facilitating preparation for external audits and facilitating timely closure of non-conformities raised during external audits, or customer/EHO visits.
Providing direction and support to the team, managing and facilitating their performance and development ensuring the departmental structure and skills are developed to meet changing requirements of business
Ensure adequate risk assessment and appropriate corrective action, and facilitating timely update where appropriate.
To ensure the customer complaint system is managed
Management and development of site GMP manual and associated procedures, and ensuring all relevant managers and operatives have undergone the necessary coaching and training on defined procedures
Set Up and manage system for calibration of key pieces of equipment within QA department.
Set up and manage and effective document control system, that ensures timely and accurate generation or update of factory QA paperwork.
Accurate and timely generation of technical reports, where appropriate identifying corrective action for improvements for both the customer and the company.
To manage and develop the audit system in line with the quality management system(periodic audits).
To ensure budget targets are met, including involvement in budgeting process
Manage and develop effective working relationship with key contacts
You will have a QA Background within the Chilled Foods sector, supervisory experience will be considered a distinct advantage.
