Our client, one of the major FMCG chilled and baked food manufacturers in the UK is currently seeking a multiple site FMCG Bakery Shift Manager to ensure smooth operation of the Bakery Department.
The company has a heavy focus on lean and is looking for someone who can use their initiative to identify and implement positive change. They are also currently implementing a training initiative that will ensure up-skilling across the 2 sites and there is ample opportunity to be involved in this to ensure the workforce are trained and well informed.
The role will include:
Responsibility for a large team of bakery staff
Implementing world class manufacturing initiative and championing continuous improvement
Ensuring communication and delivery of the KPIs
Take a hands on approach to the recruitment selection process for direct reports
Identifying and sharing best working practice
Maintaining the highest standard of quality, food safety, hygiene and general housekeeping
You will either be an experienced FMCG chilled or baked FOOD Team Leader who is looking for a move into management or you will be an experienced FMCG chilled or baked FOOD Production Manager who is looking for a new challenge. The salary will be commensurate with your experience.
