Our client, an FMCG food producer is currently seeking an FMCG food experienced Customer Technical Manager to support a major retail account ensuring the delivery of outstanding performance against all customer product and process expectations.
The role will include:
Acting as first point of contact for the retailers technical queries and complaints regarding live products
Acting as first point of contact for any serious consumer complaints and Trading Standards enquiries
Ensuring the company is proactive when implementing and advising on technical best practice and legislative changes
Ensuring that everyone understands the retail customer's technical service and codes of practice
Identifying and implementing Technical KPIs to meet the customer's requirements
Liaising with the technical team to ensure timely and accurate provision of technical specifications
Liaising with NPD
Signing off packaging artwork ensuring correct legislation, prior to packaging production
Providing advice and assistance to suppliers particularly on ethical management principles
You will have a food science degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years technical experience liaising with major food retailers. In return, this senior customer-facing role offers an excellent benefits package and an opportunity to make a real impact on the business.
