This FMCG ambient food producer is currently seeking an experienced FMCG food Product Development Manager who has experience of dealing with the major food retailers.
The role will report to the Technical Director so has seniority in this large company.
Duties will include:
Ensuring the smooth running and co-ordination of the Product Development Department and the kitchen
Delegating projects to the Development team, giving support and guidance to ensure the project deadlines and briefs are met
Undertaking development projects including generating specifications, process development, production trials and raw material development where required
Ensuring all proposed developments confirm to relevant legislation
Ensuring that all work is documented and filed and that all relevant tests are completed on new products and raw materials including nutritional, microbiological and chemical analysis
Assist the Technical team where required
Support the Sales and marketing teams where required
Liaising with high profile retailers on a regular basis
This is a very busy environment with customers demanding the highest level quality of service. You will therefore need to be a FMCG experienced New Product Development Manager, wanting to develop their career further with a well known name.
