Our client, part of a $1.8 billion turnover international FMCG Company, are now seeking an Continuous Improvement/Process Engineer with a background of working in a fast paced FMCG food or pharmaceuticals environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the objective of the role is to support the department, improve machine performance and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) within an operating area. As part of this you will lead a multi-functional operational team to achieve operations performance on quality, cost and delivery and to deliver projects to timescales.
Other responsibilities will include:
Applying and developing machine maintenance activities
Maintaining the PPM program
Defining plant critical spares
Maintaining and providing spare parts
Managing service contracts
Setting and controlling maintenance budgets
An engineering graduate or equivalent with some experience of working in FMCG and delivering Continuous Improvement projects, you will be a lean practitioner who understands the importance of sustained results through people. You will also need to be an excellent communicator who can manage a team of staff within a manufacturing type environment.
