Our client, a leading FMCG baked food manufacturer, is currently seeking a Group Technical Manager for their state of the art site. The company has been through massive growth and is a major player in their field and are looking for an experienced Technical Manager who is accustomed to the demands of the role.
Reporting directly to the Operations and Technical Director, this is a senior role fulfilling the requirements of the board, customers, consumers and legislation and accurately disseminating these requirements throughout the company. You will also need to promote the ideals of correct manufacturing practices and food safety providing training and guidance where needed, whilst managing the Technical department and associated staff.
You will need to be educated to degree level in a food science discipline and have experience of HACCP systems. In return you will be developing your career in an expanding organisation that has much to offer the right candidate.
