Our client is a market leading FMCG chilled and frozen foods manufacturer in the UK and Europe with an excellent reputation for innovation and a positive focus on quality standards. This is a pivotal role within the Technical department managing and developing the night Hygiene Team and managing some production staff. You will be driving forward a programme of Continuous Improvement within an established and very dedicated team, that have assisted in the company achieving Efsis standard and focussing on HACCP.
Your function will also entail giving direction and coaching to enhance the team skills and effectively work with the production and engineering function on a nightly basis to ensure PPM and UPM work does not jeopardise food safety or production start times.
You will be in a similar role with experience in a high care FMCG food environment with proven leadership skills. You will need to be a strong, motivated personality with the ability to challenge current practises. In return, you will be working for a European market leader who has a strong quality focus.
