Summary: Fleet Maintenance
My client is a worldwide leader in the field of processing and filtration equipment for industries such as electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, instrumentation and R&D. They utilise a range of expertise within the company to deliver process-enabling technologies including a combination of materials, vacuum, exhaust management, liquid abatement and gas abatement. Due to continual growth they require a Fleet Manager / Transport Manager to develop and implement a maintenance strategy for their Europe and South Africa operations including agreement of transport maintenance budgets, development and revision of fleet equipment standards, make sure that all vehicle resources and maintenance meet transport operations, DPC and product supply. You will have at least 5 years fleet maintenance and engineering experience, with a bias towards logistics/operations and/or distribution, with a knowledge of maintenance planning systems and 3 years minimum of man-management. It would be advantageous if you had chartered status although not essential.
