The company researches, designs, develops and manufactures advanced cells, battery packs and chargers for highly demanding markets including defence, aerospace, marine and medical.
Your responsibilities will include: Electrical and mechanical testing of space hardware on site and at external test houses (these could be overseas) to full Space QA requirements. Interpreting test plans and writing/developing of test procedures. Undertake analysis of test results and writing of test reports. Development of new testing processes. You will be able to troubleshoot on the job to eliminate problems on test. Interface with Manufacturing, Technical and Project Managers. Work under clean room conditions
The Test Engineer will have completed an engineering apprenticeship and must have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals with a HNC or higher in a relevant science or engineering subject. You must have a good level of technical experience in engineering, including hands on with hardware.
