This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation that is recognised as a specialist supplier of RF, microwave and sensing component and sub-systems with a strong, and in a number of cases leading, positions in global, niche markets.
Our client operates from two manufacturing sites in the UK, where they employ around 1200 people. Their sales activity is truly global - they export over 65% of what they make - with direct sales offices in the UK, United States of America, France and Germany. In addition they have an extensive network of distributors, giving them coverage in over 100 countries.
They are seeking an experienced Plating Process Engineer to maintain and enhance systems and equipment used to process components. The hands-on experimental and processing work will form a significant part of the workload, both to lead by example and to refine by experiment. It is expected that this hands-on work will reduce over the first year to allow for training/education of Operators and Team Leaders to embrace process spec revisions and record keeping.
This position is based in Process Engineer - a central group of engineers who are recognised as experts in the various fields and maintain/enhance the processes company-wide. This includes furnacing, welding and chemical processing.
The ideal applicant will have an educational background in Chemistry or Physics and will have a minimum of 3 years in a chemical / plating industry.
