Our market leading client requires a Production Manager - a high-profile role, with accountability for delivery of quality products. The Production Manager will have responsibility for a multi-disciplined team and should have all the skills necessary to meet the customers expectations and to implement and continuously improve upon productivity, quality and cost metrics.
He/she will work closely with sales, planning and purchasing. The PM carries full responsibility and accountability for their product line, from contract review through to customer acceptance. The cell takes component from the machining cell and assembles pumps and takes to despatch stage. Forward planning through the sop process will be expected to ensure demand and supply are balanced. Lean manufacturing experience essential. Ideal experience - low volume manufacturing but this is not essential.
Experience gained in a strategically critical process or project is desired. Ideally the job holder should have 3-4 years inventory control experience within an MRP manufacturing based environment
