The company has 180,000 employees across 167 sites dedicated to meeting the needs of all types of vehicle manufacturers and their after market requirements. This division, based in the South East, designs and manufacturers high precision engineered components and systems that form part of the global diesel portfolio of products and fuel injection systems for the car, commercial and industrial marketplace.
Their immediate requirement is for a Quality Systems Engineer to work within the quality team of the Technical Centre and lead the activities related to both the Quality and Engineering Systems.
You will be responsible for the quality system and maintain the conformance to requirements from the ISO/TS 16949 standard and customers. Aswell as managing and driving the internal audit program and preparing and managing external audits you will lead activities for the continuous improvement of processes and performance.
Successful candidates will have knowledge of main tools and methods applicable in engineering activities with awareness of project management principles.
