Surface Mount Technician - South - £Negotiable
We are looking to recruit an experienced Surface Mount Technician with a proven ability to work under pressure. The Surface Mount Technician will be expected to manage the technical responsibility for the SMT lines, ensuring they are optimised to the full and running efficiently.
The successful Production Engineers duties will include:
Fault finding
Assisting operators with any problems they may encounter
Writing and debugging placement programmes
Feeder repair
Maintenance of all SMT machines
Maintenance of prototype builds
Monitoring of throughput and quality
Shift work may be involved for which a generous shift premium is paid.
