This challenging role will entail the creation of a project plan and the leading of a team in the execution of tasks to timescale in order to achieve defined goals.
You will be deeply involved in each phase from purchase order to sign off including regular review meetings to ensure effective communication of information.
Close liaison will be required with the Technology Leader, Designer, purchasing, production, logistics and commissioning departments as well as the customer to ensure all information, BOMs and components are available when required to meet specifications set for time, quality and cost, identifying and solving problems as and when they arise.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in physics or a related discipline with at least 2 years experience in a project management/development role in a high tech environment. You will be an excellent communicator with a logical structured approach to project management and strong leadership skills to motivate team members and encourage commitment to deadlines.
