Our client is a global business with an outstanding pedigree and reputation for consultancy, research, approvals and certification within the fire & safety, security, environmental and construction sectors; domestic, industrial, public and private.
Reporting to the Group Director, we seek an outstanding individual to lead the electronics approval business. We are looking for a Director to build, extend and integrate the service of this world renowned business. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing a strong electronics business based on the company's existing internationally respected fire detection, security and building management approval services.
This high profile, influential role will operate on an international basis, working closely with partners, manufacturers, customers, regulatory bodies and governments to ensure this £3M business meets the fast-evolving current and future needs of all parties connected whilst developing staff, new business opportunities and joint ventures/partnerships.
Applicants should be experienced, confident and entrepreneurial leaders already, with a demonstrable track record of defining and delivering new business growth within the fire, safety, security and risk business. Knowledge and comfortable dealing with trade groups, regulators, governments and international agencies, the successful candidate with have a flair for business development and marketing, and be gifted and inspiring, energising and leading a team from a high profile, public position. Travel is a key component of this role so international experience is essential.
