Our Blue Chip client, a 'Purple' company based in Worcestershire, are looking for an Experienced Project Manager, who holds APM or PRINCE2 accreditation, and are able to demonstrate details of the size and complexity of the projects they have managed in a commercial sector.
Summary of Purpose of Vacancy: The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure the delivery of the required outputs, to the required quality standard, within the defined cost and timescales. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the project realises the benefits defined in the Business Case.
Key Accountabilities:
The Project Manager is accountable for the following specific activities:
* Planning the project
* Monitoring and controlling the project
* Financial Management of the project
* Risk Management of the project
* Communicating the status of the project to interested stakeholders
* Directing and motivating the project team
* Process management and improvement
Educational Requirements:
* Ideally degree qualified in a relevant science or engineering discipline
Professional Capabilities/Experience:
* Previous Project Management experience
* PRINCE 2 or APM accreditation
Essential Personal Qualities/Behavioural Characteristics:
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Good man management skills
* Excellent team player
