My client are leaders in research and development for a wide range of technologies and applications including industrial & consumer products, medical devices and printing. They have an urgent opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator with scientific knowledge and admin ability.
You should have a degree in either a scientific- or engineering-related subject, be a self-starter and ultimately looking to pursue a career in technology consulting. You will ideally have one to two years' experience of working in a professional services or technical environment
Main responsibilities are likely to include:
Monitoring the progress of project activity within the project team
Communicating project or resource issues to the project manager and divisional management
Administering project budget, expenses, and invoices
Planning and co-ordinating project meetings
Co-ordinating and documenting relevant project reviews
Ensuring project actions are completed
Arranging travel for the project team for client meetings
Managing project documentation systems and assisting with the preparation of project documentation where appropriate
Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors on project related activities
Working with sales and marketing teams on the preparation of marketing material relating to projects, as well as supporting marketing events where appropriate
Monitoring the compliance of project teams with ISO9001 quality management systems, including:
Managing the project issue tracker database
Auditing project documentation and log books against quality system requirements
