Our client is a company with a turnover in the region of £40 million per annum and a wide product portfolio. They are looking to recruit a Customer Services Administrator. This role relates to their valve product range which includes Gate, Butterfly, Air and Pressure Reducing Valves. In this role you will assist the Customer Service Manager in the day to day customer service duties for the Export Sales which are listed below:
1. Assist customers with telephone enquiries
2. Input sales data onto computer
3. Proactively manage customers needs
4. Liaise with despatch and production departments based at other sites
5. Liaising with freight companies
6. Be responsible for NCM Credit Insurance and declarations
7. Pick all available goods on a daily basis
8. Raise all appropriate despatch notes
9. Raise all appropriate invoices
10. Ensure that the EFACS Export database is updated on a regular basis i.e. customer details etc.
11. To assist in any other daily duties that may requested by the export customer services manager or commercial director.
The individual should have a good standard of education and have good communication and interpersonal. You will be able to work well within a Team as well as individually using your own initiative. Previous experience in an export role or knowledge of POD'S despatch and working with Freight companies would be advantageous.
