Supply Chain Advisor
Hertfordshire, Berkhamsted
£ 60,000 + Bonus + Car
Our client is a highly successful software and services company providing integrated IT solutions to the fashion and lifestyle sector. They currently seek a number of Business Advisers to join the team. The role will be based in Berkhamsted, but significant amounts of time will be spent at client sites throughout the UK.
They are looking for talented, experienced executives with strong business skills and specialist areas of expertise. The Supply Chain Advisor must be experienced in the fashion and lifestyle sector and be able to engage with customers regarding the use and value of their solutions and act as a senior adviser in solving specific business problems.
Working with small project teams, the newly appointed Advisers will be expected to drive client assignments and will therefore need good analytical, creative problem solving and communication skills; capable of taking a logical approach to gathering evidence and structuring and presenting it comprehensively. In addition, the successful candidate will need to have the credibility and persuasion skills to deal effectively with both internal and external clients.
Advisers fulfil a substantial client-facing role not only in terms of leading presentations and client workshops, but also in supporting the development of new business.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of supply chain management
- Candidates must possess management experience within the fashion and lifestyle industry sector
- Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Be able to show experience in the implementation of a new, computerised system from the business user perspective
Role:
- Reviews and analyses client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals for cost effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction
- Designs, structures and delivers client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
- Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems
- May identify new business opportunities or follow-on work and new leads at assigned client
- Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and clothing and footwear industry
