Our client is a leading manufacturer of vending machines in the UK and has a reputation for quality and innovation. They currently seek a Stores and Logistics Manager to join their successful team. This role is key to the Company commitment of providing superior customer service and the management of customer relationships through effective and quality driven service will be a primary responsibility.
You will provide day to day management of the stores, delivery areas and personnel to ensure the provision of fast, effective and cost efficient service to internal and external customers. You will also hold responsibility for ensuring the stores department meets requirements in terms of stock control and quality assurance.
The successful candidate will also assume responsibility for the management of the drivers and trucks, ensuring tachograph and other legal requirements are strictly adhered to as well as service and maintenance requirements. You will schedule loads to meet customer service requirements whilst ensuring costs and resources are effectively managed.
The successful applicant will hold a CPC, be experienced in logistic and despatch planning as well as stores management and be able to establish and work within a culture of accuracy and superior customer service levels.
