A fantastic leisure complex in the heart of Berkshire is looking for a Events & Marketing Manager The venue is one of the best leisure facilities in the county and has many diverse attractions.
You will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing day-to-day organisation and running of the Events & Marketing Sales department. Your role will involve pro-active selling techniques to cross sell all of the venue's facilities, improving and maintaining customer service standards. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks including setting targets, budgets, report writing and advertising. You must understand and provide an efficient service during events and rate negotiations.
The right candidate will have excellent attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal and managerial skills. You will come from a very pro active background where the focus is on sales and targets.
