Our luxurious 4 Star London property with 371 bedrooms, 2 restaurants and bars and 18 Conference rooms with capacity for up to 400 delegates requires an Events Manager to join its busy and successful team. With a wide variety of facilities, our extremely versatile property is ideal for corporate conference, meetings and seminars as well as weddings and other leisure functions.
This is a reactive sales role requiring the post-holder to support the implementation of meetings and events sales strategies enabling achievement of the sales targets. Working alongside the Events Director you will be required to supervise the effective .
You will be responsible for the conversion stage of the event process. Requiring an astute ability to recognise the opportunity to turn enquiries to revenue makes this a fast paced and challenging event sales role. Essential traits include an excellent telephone manner, a proven ability to perform show-rounds to the most prestigious of clientele and a sixth sense for upselling.
Candidates must have a proven track record in a similar role. Essential personal attributes are the ability to display excellent personal skills and exhibit good customer relations, coupled to a passion for an elite product. Verbal/written communication to a good educational level, well groomed, good organization and administration skills, good PC skills including Microsoft applications, ability to cope under pressure from internal/external customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Senior Events Co-ordinator in a large 4* or 5* hotel or Events Office Manager in a smaller property of established quality to work in one of the UKs most challenging and desired hotel positions
