Having grown considerably in recent years, our leading Insurance client is now looking for a nearly / newly qualified Actuary. This Senior role will be to build and manage a new team responsible for the risk and retail pricing of Household Insurance.
Looking ideally for those with a background in general insurance, you should possess management and analytical skills that will help tame the chaotic uncertainty that characterises so much of actuarial work.
Those who do not have formal actuarial qualifications will be considered provided they are backed by extensive experience and knowledge. Ultimately the ability to apply the latest analytical techniques to model better solutions for household policies is key.
Strong interpersonal skills will be intrinsic to your success, since you will be liaising with internal / external business areas to make recommendations for product development.
Your technical prowess is assumed and should include sound knowledge of relevant packages such as Emblem and SAS.
