Our client, one of the UK’s best-known financial services companies, is offering a great opportunity for an up-and-coming Actuarial Analyst with good commercial sense.
Working alongside senior actuaries, you will be identifying and analysing trends within data to help maintain and develop pricing for our client’s insurance products and Individual Capital Assessment.
Work will include: demographic analysis and monitoring of customer accounts to identify claim patterns; modelling for policy risk pricing; assisting in the research and development of new statistical techniques.
If you are part way through the actuarial exam process this role would ideally suit. Our client is offering a traineeship and will support your progression into a fully-fledged Actuary whilst you gain great hands on experience. Those looking to progress from a Life & Pensions role would also be of interest.
To succeed in this challenging role you will need 18+ months relevant pricing / actuarial experience. Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, database tools etc. is essential. Any exposure to pricing packages such as EMBLEM is desirable. Pick up the phone and propel your career. Call now.
