Our client is an international mobile operator looking to recruit a support engineer to manage the capacity for customer facing I.T. infrastructure (data networks, hardware systems ;Unix, win NT, and firewalls and security) You will also be required to produce engineering plans and the timely acquisition and deployment of future technology and resources. You must have at 3 years experience of capacity planning with good understanding of capacity drivers and constraints of servers and data Networks. Experience of the following in a large scale environment is essential; open system servers (HP and SUN), databases (oracle and DB2),storage (EMC) . Good exp of SUN and HP hardware configuration and performance and oracle & DB2 databases as deployed in real-time telecoms infrastructure is essential.
