Our client a leading financial services company is looking for a keen statistician to analyse insurance claims in order to provide insight into future risk selection and pricing strategies for insurance products.
Work will include: demographic analysis and monitoring of customer accounts to identify patterns of behaviour; model building for policy risk pricing; and assisting in the research and development of new statistical techniques.
You will need upwards of a 2.2 Honours degree in a numerical subject ideally coupled with 18+ months statistical work experience. Recent graduates with relevant work placement experience and knowledge of stats packages (e.g. SAS, SPSS, SPLUS etc.) will be considered. Any exposure to Emblem? …highly beneficial.
