To succeed as a Case Handler within this company you need to be capable of working as part of a team, be able to cope with a demanding workload and communicate effectively under pressure. The case load is high so self-motivation, a high level of service ethos plus the ability to cope with competing priorities and meet externally set deadlines is essential.
The successful candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds including Marine Claims, Legal, Admiralty or P&I. A sound knowledge of the workings of the marine insurance market in general, as well as established contacts within the industry, would also be an advantage.
