Our client is looking for a bright statistician to join its London based Statistical R+D department. To work for this well-known insurance giant, candidates need to have a good numeric degree and solid statistical knowledge gleaned from 1+ years work experience or university placement.
This position will allow you to work on the pricing of new products by developing risk assessment models. Analysis of datasets and the surrounding demographics to identify features to improve risk selection is key and will ideally require a sound knowledge of SAS / SPSS. Emblem experience would also benefit.
As well as a good statistical background the applicant will require an eye for detail and the ability to confidently present structured reports detailing pricing performance.
