SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST, Bespoke Products, Immediate Interview, To £30K + On-Call + Bens
Keywords: Technical, Support, Software, QA, Quality Assurance
Our client is looking for a Software Support, Specialist.
You should have 3-4 Years experience of providing technical support (or possibly QA in a customer facing role) for bespoke software products, a background in a Software house which develops its own software, Degree level education and an understanding of the concepts of embedded software modules and APIs.
Also essential is the ability to read/write code (any of Visual Basic, C, C++, Java) and to communicate effectively internally and externally with people at all levels of technical abilities, including developers, end-users, sales staff and marketing staff. You should also have strong organisational and time management skills.

Your primary tasks will include providing an effective technical support service to customers and partners, marshalling components for a customer order, scripting and testing rules to validate reference numbers and proactively identifying process improvements. You will also carry out project tasks assigned from time to time.
