Systems Integration Engineer – UK Travel, West Midlands, c. 32K
Leading Solutions and Services Provider, based in the Midlands, is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to enable and deliver implementations and integration of their systems at customer sites.
You will have experience of development and systems implementations. You will have an awareness of networking. Other technical skills will include Java, RDBMS , XML and web services. You will also be aware of public domain software eg Tomcat / Apache.
You are likely to have a strong technical background but also have had a period working in a similar role with customers, developing and implementing creative solutions within commercial and time constraints. You will have a flexible and commercial streak with a high degree of resourcefulness and self-reliance but you will also know when it is necessary to consult with colleagues.
