Our client, a global leading Storage company, is currently looking to employ a Support Engineer for their German offices nr. Stuttgart.
You ensure that customers are satisfied and can be utilized as a positive reference by timely resolution of problems, frequent contact, and participating in site visits as appropriate. You respond to service call dispatch,providing timely updates and call closure information for the business systems ( e.g. Visio drawings, Service requests, Trip report etc. ).
You participate in the technical escalation process assisting the junior team members in resolution of complex issues.
You are degree educated and have 3 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge of network systems technology, fibre channel technology and troubleshooting.
Sound knowledge of OS required ( Windows/Unix/Novell ) as well as back up applications software. Ability to utilize advanced tools and test equipment: SCSI and fibre analyzers etc.
English speaking environment!!!
