Interested in travelling to Japan every now and again? Also interested in cutting edge 3D audio technology? If you are, and have good DSP this is a very cool job where you will work for a team that develops, ports and supports 3D audio algorithms on a range of mobile devices, such as mobile phones, PDAs and portable games consoles. Main responsibilities are: code, test and port 3D audio algorithms to mobile devices in DSP and Assembler. Typical processors include ARM9 and TI DSP. Candidates should meet the following profile: Degree or other higher level qualification in Computer Science or other computer-related field; 2 years DSP/Assembler/C/C programming experience. Must be prepared to travel both in UK and abroad and spend short periods away from home. Experience of ARM processor families. Experience of implementing audio algorithms would be good too. An interest in audio, games or music.
