Our client is the market-leader in providing marketing intelligence for improving sales. Based at their head office in Oxford, they are currently looking for an experienced TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER to join their team and manage their major account customers. You will manage the project and the day-to-day customer relationship. You will specify the solution that will be implemented, design the system to meet this specification and manage other consultants who are performing technical and training tasks. The ideal candidate will also be technically adept in the following areas: knowledge of accounting system structures and functionality (General Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Stock movements and customer allocation tables), solid understanding of database design (in-depth practical experience of SQL), MS SQL Server version 7 and 2000 server (set up and config), Excel, Access and MS Query scripting, File transfer protocols (FTP, KERMIT), Experience of CRM/SFA systems and experience of using MS Project (or similar) to plan and track multiple parallel projects. If possible the successful candidate should have had exposure to one or more of the following (or similar) applications: SAP, NaVision, Cognos, Business Objects, JBA, BPCS, Siebel, Pivotal, Goldmine, Sales Logix, Tetra Chameleon & CS3, Sage, Pegasus, XKO, Kerridge.
