Our client is a leading IT Support and Solutions company in the Thames Valley. They are currently looking for a Support Engineer to join their team to support customer requirements in Uxbridge over a 6 month contract. The role will involve the installation and support of Microsoft Server, Back office and desktop infrastructure, Security, Networking and Convergence solutions. We would expect the successful candidates will not only need to have a thorough understanding of Windows 2000/2003, Exchange, Networking and Security fundamentals experience of Cisco equipment or qualification would be an beneficial but not mandatory, but you will need a minimum qualification of an MCP and a min. 3 yrs of customer facing I.T. experience. An excellent knowledge of LAN's, WAN's, Internet, Email and Firewalls is necessary, along with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
