This Hardware Engineer role reports to the Project Manager, together with Hardware Team Leader.
Highly talented, motivated, enthusiastic, electronics design engineer with experience in the specification and digital design of complex boards and systems required, with qualifications to match.
Essential skills and qualities:
· Digital design experience (medium to high speed).
· Experience of complex designs.
· Expertise of full design flow from requirement to implementation.
· Expertise of full FPGA design cycle, using VHDL (Xilinx, Model Sim, Leonardo etc).
· Ability to understand, take ownership and progress existing designs and implementations.
· Exceptional design test and debug skills.
· Ability to create, commit to and meet own work estimates for all aspects of the design flow.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
