Financial Services Company require an experienced Oracle DBA for 18 month Fixed Term Contract. Development and Production Support experience preferred. Duties will include troubleshooting, performance tuning and software installs and upgrades. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years Oracle DBA experience with the ability to Shell Script (Perl, awk). Suitable candidates must have experience with RAC and Dataguard. Skills required: Oracle 9i, RAC, Dataguard, Oracle 9iAS, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Veritas Netbackup, Apache Web Server, Unix (Solaris). Desirable skills include: SUN Cluster 3.0, BEA Weblogic, RUP, Clearcase / Clearquest, Veritas Volume Manager. Telephone interviews to be arranged quickly.
