The Security Operations Project Group designs/builds global security capabilities and deploys these into Global Operations handing 3rd level support to Network Security.projects include Server Lockdown, Host and Network Intrusion Detection,Anti-Virus for Global Ops,Firewall evaluation, Security State compliance monitoring using Enterprise Security Manager, Security Management Architecture (SMA) development and implementation globally. This is a technical security role. The ideal candidate will come from a “hands on” security engineering background, preferably in a project environment..Excellent knowledge of security principles,techniques,technologies and application.knowledge of at least one of the major operating systems Unix (Solaris, Linux),WDW NT,2000,.NET as well as strong TCP/IP networking.Detailed experience of one of the following and awareness of the others:Firewalls (Raptor,Checkpoint and Netscreen),security state compliance,IDS,ISO17799,“hardening” ops systems.
