Our customer, a leader in retail information systems installation and support require a dedicated helpdesk engineer to remotely/telephone/onsite support a range of users, clients and field engineers across UK sites.
Essentially you will have a minimum of 3 years technical helpdesk support, with good all round skills within: EPOS hardware/Software, Microsoft Windows environment upto Windows 2000/NT/XP O/S and some Server, MS Outlook, various remote applications, including VPN. Also, thermal printers and barcode an advantage.
You will be flexible and reliable, hard working, good team player with excellent PC Build and broad Engineering skills. Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
The Helpdesk runs on a rota system. Also, the ability to train new users, and qualifications such as MCSE would be a distinct advantage.
Benefits: Salary - £18-£19K, £5K Car allowance/or car, £6K Overtime allowance available, Medical Insurance, Pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday, ongoing training and career development.
