Contract Informatica Developer (data Warehouse, PowerCeter, Oracle), ASAP – Up to £400 a day. Key responsibilities: Technical Expertise – Work in Data Warehousing development, focusing mainly in Oracle SQL, PLSQL and Informatica PowerCenter. Maintain and develop interfaces extracting, transforming and large volumes of data. Code UNIX shell scripts (Bourne/Korn shell), including some sed and awk. Providing acceptable levels of unit, performance and possibly system test on released code. Qualifications, experience and expertise: Essential Skills: 1.) 5 years Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (8i or 9i) database programming experience, including data analysis and performance tuning skills. 2.) 2 years working in a Data Warehouse team loading high volumes of data. 3.) 2 years experience with developing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter (version 6 preferred). 4.) 2 years UNIX shell scripting. 5.) Experience of working in a team environment. Desirable Skills 1. Formal Oracle OCP certification. 2. Experience of working in a Telecoms environment. 3. Experience with Ab Initio ETL toolset. 4.
