Our client is a sales and marketing consultancy that specialises in helping IT companies with their go-to-market strategy. They provide clients actionable sales leads, market intelligence for strategic and tactical planning, and industry best practices for sales lead development. You will join a team of international analysts (currently over 11 nationalities are represented) who have on average 6 years business experience, a strong IT background and a university degree. Over 50% of our team has a postgraduate degree and all analysts speak a minimum of two languages fluently. You should have very strong telephone skills • University degree with a strong commercial background
•Good understanding of IT/Enterprise solution applications specifically CRM solutions•Language combination: English + German or Dutch
•Very good knowledge of the German or Dutch and British business environment. Description: You will be responsible to build a comprehensive map of the client's most strategic prospects, identifying areas of need, profiling the decision-making process, and interviewing key decision-makers to conduct a needs assessment and internal agendas. Through the use of peer-to-peer conversations with senior executives, you will speak to multiple individuals in each target company -- line of business managers, IT managers, finance executives -- to gain a cross-functional view of the enterprise and its purchasing behavior.
We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a business-to-business sales or marketing environment. At least one year of experience with inside sales or business development.
This is not a selling position; however you must demonstrate the ability to:
• Identify the decision-maker and get past the gatekeeper
• Be a good listener with the skill to extract information without alienating
• Possess strong communication skills, written and oral
• Translate and provide insight into the interviews
