This is a challenging role for an enthusiastic problem-solver with 2 years experience in a front, middle or back office support role within the Finance or Energy sectors. You will be responsible for ongoing business and technical support of Clients across Europe, testing and monitoring of systems/applications plus replication and resolution of issues. Excellent communication and first-class customer-facing skills are essential. Flexibility and some travel and off-site working required. Our client is a market leading developer of trading and risk management systems for some of the world’s premier financial and energy trading institutions. Based in the heart of the City, they have an enviable reputation for the sophistication and flexibility of their products. Requirements · 2 years experience of working within a Financial Institution in middle/back office or IT development environment · Knowledge of, or interest in, Capital markets, treasury or commodities · Educated to Degree level in Mathematics/Computer Science/Finance · Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team · Flexibility, some travel will be involved, working on-site with customers and irregular hours · Self starter with enthusiasm · Ability to take ownership and responsibility of tasks to be undertaken IT Skills Required: * Crystal Reports * NT and/or UNIX * Database knowledge of Sybase,Oracle and SQL * Understanding of programming in Visual Basic Applicants must have permission to live and work in the UK Previous Applicants need not reapply.
